Having wowed the audiences and judges at Teenage Icon 2008, Alicia and Amanda were unanimously voted the winners. After their first and successful breakthrough into the scene, the fresh and vibrant duo is ready to flood the town with their energy & talent!
These two sisters, though two years apart, have been inseparably since they were kids. Their strengths and flaws combine seamlessly throughout the Teenage Icon competition, creating dynamic stage presence and performances.

The elder of the two, Alicia Lye, is soft-spoken with a humble nature, yet transforms into a confident up and coming hip-hop dancer when strutting her own choreographed piece in front of a full-house crowd! Alicia has participated in many dance festivals and productions, including Chingay 2008/2009, and Tapestry 2007 Street Basking Festival. In 2007, she was also tasked to choreograph and dance for the Hwa Chong Institution Dance Night! Alicia also won 2nd Runner Up in the Inter Junior College Pageant in 2007.

The always cheerful Amanda with her jovial attitude and eloquent English was the popular choice amongst her peers to host many of her school’s concerts. Being just 18 at that time, she made it to the Finalist round of DJ Wannabe Contest 2006. That is the key to her discovering her own talent and passion in performing. Since then, she went on to perform in many school productions, and even joined a dance crew (verB), which emerged Champions in the Clean and Green Dance Competition 2006, and were the finalists for the prestigious dance competition - PULSE Hip Hop Knockout Dance Competition 2007.
