Having had vocal and dance training in her younger days, Joanna Francois was first discovered in the Singapore Cinderella Miss Talent 2004/2005. She then went on to represent Singapore and performed in Las Vegas in the International Cinderella Scholarship Program where she won the Cinderella Special Award.
In the American Amateur Modeling and Talent contest held in Las Vegas (July 17th 2004), Joanna won 2 bronze medals for the Song and Dance category (she performed Walking on Sunshine) and the Novelty category (she performed an Indian dance, choreographed by herself)
Joanna was the reigning 4th Princess in the Singapore Cinderella Miniature Miss 2004/2005 held in Singapore in June 2004.
Joanna has been interviewed by the various press and media like IS Magazine in May 2007, 91.3FM SPH Radio, Disney Channel in July 2006, South China Morning Post, Hong Kong March 2006, Snick Kids - Nickelodeon Channel May 2005, Kids Central TV in March 2005, Power98’s Morning Breakfast Show in August 2004 and June 2005, and was featured in the Shin Min Daily and the Tamil Murasu.
